TRIBUTE: Mat Rock Lama.
This is not a diss but a tribute to the Golden Era of Mat Rockers.
There was time where Rock really never dies. Despite how sappy their songs are.
Music was Music. Screw the image. But having a perm mullet and skinny jeans is kinda must for Mat Rocks. Lead singer should be extra skinny.
There's no need for pretty boy/faggot looks.

However,there are things you must have in a Mat Rock music as shown in this clip.
1)A deserted location (usually at a beach)
2)Air Drumming (0:51 and 3:47 for the longer version)
3)80s fashion that denies any form logic or sense.
Like, wearing a overcoat to a beach (3:27)
4)Most importantly, having sudden urge to "tarik" (intensify) your voice. (1:32)
And making random fist.
I love Rock Jiwang (Malay Rock Ballads).
They are part of my culture.
They are part of my history.
They are part of me.
It just simple rock. Mat Rock just want to jam and sing. Making money wasn't part of the deal to them. They would be contented if they were to be invited to jam in a pub. Or someone's wedding at a nearby kampung.
That was how honest their music was.
